DJ MDUBULO: Memory Recovery is a game where you help young Ntombizodwa, a data recovery agent, recover her ancestor’s lost works.

One of Africa’s greatest pains is that of its lost history. The continent’s memories of itself are being actively looted and destroyed. For every lost artefact, Africa is less of itself. For every forgotten piece of history, Africa knows less of itself.

Now, if we could send data recovery agents back in time, could we take back what has been lost? Somewhere near the Limpopo River lies the secrets to all of us. In DJ MDUBULO: Memory Recovery you help Ntombizodwa, a young data recovery agent, on a mission recovering memories of one of her ancestor’s lost works. However, time that we experience but don’t remember is lost time. Fed to the ugly demon of forgetfulness who preys on us to never remember, never recover, and worst of all never fulfill our ancestor’s dreams.
